It's funny because the article inadvertently describes the Droid as actually having pretty stellar battery life. 7 hours of constant music playing including 1 hour of navigation, with the screen on highest brightness and sleep mode disabled? Only then does it die? That sounds pretty spectacular to me, especially considering how large and sharp the Droid's screen is.I'm sure only the most insanely heavy users are going to have a problem. And then... all they have to do is fork out $39.99 for an extra battery. They'll never have to worry about a dead device in the space of their waking life.!

My suggestion to Digg: If this is necessary to keep digg running, I'll accept it grudgingly, but it's still ***** and ugly and annoying, especially the shrinking of the comment section.You should really give logged in users the ability to turn off the site integration ads, though. I'm sure it's a small minority of your viewership, so it shouldn't cost you that much, and it might entice other users to log in, which I'm sure is better for you in the long run...more people with accounts, more people able to click the digg button and submit stories, etc...I understand why this kind of thing is necessary. Ad revenue is shrinking along with the effectiveness of simple banner ads. Click rates are dropping and money is drying up. If pursuing a new revenue source is a necessary evil, then I understand, but keep in mind most of the users seem to really hate it.

It was Steve Jobs' decision,his excuse of having better service through having one provider is all BS. I know ATT wasn't his first choice, but he still should have tried to work things out with Verizon. He could've opened up the iPhone, but he didn't, so I know I am in the minority but I blame Jobs first and foremost. He made a financial choice, and I can respect that, but everyone gives him a free pass regarding his relationship with ATT.
